

HART, Artman Floyd “Art”, age 89 of Miamisburg passed away Friday, October 14, 2016 at Sycamore Glen Health Center, Miamisburg. He was born June 15, 1927 in Corbin, KY to the late Eugene Frederick and Carman (Goodin) Hart. In addition to his parents, Art was preceded in death by his sisters, Eva Reed and Irene Fogle and a granddaughter, Wendi Marie Wheeler. Art is survived by his wife and sweetheart of 69 years, Sarah Mae (Angel) Hart; his children, Linda Wheeler of Miamisburg, Brenda (Ted) Wilhoit of Florida and Leon (Jill) Hart of Franklin; grandchildren, Adam (Courtney) Wheeler, Evan (Erin) Wheeler, Jessica (Joshua) Thompson, Justin (Heather) Hart and April (Larry) Price; great grandchildren, Addison, Olivia, Zachary, Emaline, Everly, Jackson, Jamison, Kylie, Collin, Mary, Laura and Rebekah as well as his siblings, Bonnie (Bill) Kinser of Arizona, Leland Hart of Kentucky and Hugh (Tommye) Hart of Florida. Art was a graduate of Hall High School in Harlan, KY and began his 30 year career with Frigidaire prior to his departure to serve our country in the United Stated Navy. Upon completion of his tour, Art married, raised a family and finished his career as an employee of General Motors in 1976. Although retired, Art found it difficult not to keep busy so he found part-time employment at Bill and Ron’s Service Station, Denver’s Marathon and Interstate Ford to help him pass the time. Art enjoyed tending a vegetable garden and sharing his yield with family and friends and also loved to visit the beach where he found the rest and relaxation required to nurture his soul. Art was blessed to spend time at home and share numerous treasured moments with family. Family will receive guests during visitation from 10:00 am-12:00 pm Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg. Funeral services will immediately follow at 12:00 pm Wednesday also at the funeral home and led by his son, Leon. Highland Memorial Cemetery, Miamisburg will serve as Art’s Final resting place where military honors will be performed.
