Brian Mark Neville ended his long-fought battle with cancer on April 28th, 2025 at the age of 29. He left this world while surrounded by his family at his home in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Brian was born in Dayton, Ohio and grew up in Miamisburg where he attended Bishop Leibold School. He was a natural athlete and played baseball, basketball, and soccer. He graduated from Alter High School in 2014, where he played soccer, ran track, and Cross Country. He met many lifelong friends along the way. He then went on to get his Bachelor's Degree in Finance at Ohio University with some of his best friends by his side. Brian was a valued employee at Huntington Bank, where he was about to celebrate his five-year anniversary this year. Brian’s work ethic was a special one as he continued to work full-time up until the day he went into hospice.
Brian was truly a light in this world. Even while fighting a truly horrible disease, he never once let his optimistic, positive outlook on life waver. His beautiful smile never for a second left his face and all he cared about was how other people were doing. He was the happiest, most caring person you could ever have the pleasure of meeting. He fought for his life so courageously and with incredible strength over the last seven years. He had to endure so much pain, but again, you would have never known. On the outside, all you would see was the happiest, kindest person. Words on paper could never accurately describe the purity and goodness that was Brian Neville.
Brian loved to have fun. This was instilled in him from an early age, as he grew up going on numerous fun family vacations, many bike rides, and hikes with his family. Brian was always extremely family oriented. His love of enjoying life continued as he got older, whether that was having a game night with his friends, going to movie theaters, or going on an outdoor adventure of any kind, he loved it all. He was also an avid sports fan. He was hooked on any sport with a ball- except golf. His love of sports was mainly centered around his favorite teams, the Lakers and the Bengals. Another love of Brian’s was music. It was rare to find him not having music playing, and if he wasn’t, he was quoting his favorite lines, which most of the time were from an Eminem song.
On March 15th, he got to marry the love of his life surrounded by all of his favorite people. Brian said this was one of the best days of his life. He and his wife spent the last four years together and it was filled with more love than some people get to experience throughout their whole lifetimes. They also built their own version of a family by rescuing their two kitties, Andi and Alfie. He absolutely adored his fur babies and spoiled them immensely. Whenever Brian left the house, they were most likely getting a new toy when he returned.
Brian is survived by his wife, Samantha Pierson; his beloved mother, Kim Neville; his father, Mark Neville; his brother, Jack Dresden (Phil Beasley); and his paternal grandma, Patricia Neville. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandma, Carol Shaw; his maternal grandpa, Harold Shaw; and his paternal grandpa, Eugene Neville. Brian is also survived by numerous special aunts, uncles, and cousins who he loved with all of his heart.

Brian was blessed to be surrounded by a talented and caring team from the Ohio State James Cancer Center and Hospice of Central Ohio. His family would like to thank all of them for their exceptional care.
Brian’s legacy will live on through his amazing family and friends that he absolutely adored. His happiness and strength will be one that can never be forgotten.
