

He was born August 28, 1953 in Camden, New Jersey.
Charles served his country in the United States Army and the Army Reserves. He worked for Apex Machine and Tool for over 30 years and at the Dayton Water Reclamation Facility up until his retirement. Charles was an avid Dayton Flyer Basketball fan and a Philadelphia sports fan. He was a great son, husband, dad, brother and uncle and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Claria (McMains) Hans; his mother, Marion Hans; children, Bill (Brandi) Hans, Eric (Clari) Hans, and Christina Holt; lots of accumulated grandchildren, LOL; siblings, Teena Gartenmayer, Dan (Mary) Hans, Gary Hans, David Hans, Lydia Lopez; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Charles was preceded in death by his father, Charles E. Hans, Sr.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE Funeral Home, Miamisburg. A funeral service will follow at 12:30 PM. Burial will take place at Dayton National Cemetery.
The family would love for all attendees to wear their Flyer apparel or anything red and blue.
