Charles "Pete" Parlette, Jr.

"Pete", Age 74 of Miamisburg, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born on December 10, 1940 in Dayton, OH to the late Charles and Pauline (Weber) Parlette. He is preceded in death by his beloved granddaughter, Jenna Parlette. Pete is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carole (Lewis) Parlette, children Lisa Parlette, Lori (Parlette) (Chris) Case and Jeff (Teresa) Parlette, and 6 grandchildren, Mitch & Ashlie Case, Haley, Carter, Nolan & Tanner Parlette, many other extended family members and dear friends. He graduated from Miamisburg High School in 1958 and attended Sinclair Community College. Pete retired from Chrysler with 30 years of service. He was very active in the community by volunteering for Miamisburg Pee Wee sports, participating in the Viking Booster Association and serving as the longest standing, for 32 years, on the Miamisburg Civil Service Commission. He was a member of Minerva Lodge #98 F&AM and the Miamisburg Lions Club. Pete loved spending time with family, attending his grandkid’s sporting events and golfing with friends. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, 508 East Linden Ave. Miamisburg, Ohio 45342. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 PM. Burial will take place at Hillgrove Cemetery.
