

Born June 18, 1918 in Dry Branch, WV and passed October 13, 2011 in his 93rd year. Mr. Watson was a Naval veteran of World War II. He was employed by General Motors for 30 years and worked as a delivery driver for Main Auto Parts from 1976-1993. He was married for 67 years to Grethel McQueen Watson in 1940, she preceded him in 2008. He was also preceded by his parents, Rosa and M. Lincoln Watson; sisters, Mary Hignite and Ruth Williams; and two brothers, Kyle and David Watson. He is survived by his daughters, Billie Jane (Dana) Green of West Carrollton and Lu Ann (Don) Saunders of Miamisburg; grandchildren, Sarah (Jason) Schwartz of North Port, FL and Donnie (Carrie) Saunders III. of Miamisburg; great-grandchildren, Zoe Schwartz, Lillie Saunders; and a brother, Denman Watson of St. Petersburg, FL and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 18, 2011 from 12noon-1:00 p.m. at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home in Miamisburg, followed by a funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Hillgrove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Charles’ memory to the West Carrollton Schools Education Foundation, 430 East Pease Ave. West Carrollton, OH 45449; or to the Kettering City Schools Education Foundation, 3750 Far Hills Ave., Kettering, Ohio 45429.
