

She was born May 17, 1985 in Dayton, Ohio. Dana was a 2004 graduate of Miamisburg High School. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Wright State University and her Master’s Degree in School Guidance and Counseling from the University of Dayton. During high school, she played the flute in the orchestra and played soccer, her favorite thing to do. While in college, she spent the summer of 2005 as a camp counselor for the Military Base in Darmstadt, Germany where she met her husband Oliver.
In high school, she began working at JCPenney. She later worked at Sinclair Community College in the Learning Resource Center as Computer Support where she assisted students with their understanding of Microsoft products and she was a Test Coordinator for ACT and SAT exams. Dana worked at Dunbar High School (Dayton Public Schools) as a Guidance counselor and most recently was working at Trotwood-Madison City Schools as a Guidance Counselor and Test Coordinator at the high school.
She received her Software Testing Certificate in December 2018 and Business Information systems – Information Processing Certificate in December 2018. Dana was a member of Ohio Education Association. She and her family enjoyed attending Springboro United Church of Christ.
She loved to take pictures, soccer, crocheting, sewing, and quilting. Dana loved to travel and visit new places. She loved her husband for all the special things they did together and she especially loved her sons whom she adored. Dana loved people and would like to thank everyone for all their love and support.
Dana is survived by her loving husband of 12 years, Oliver Matthew Robinson; her sons, Leon Elias Robinson and Quentin Elijah Robinson; mother, Linda Lou Angel and step-father, Robert Lee Angel; father, Mikel Dean Hensley and step-mother, Terri Hensley; brother, Kyle Alan (Michelle) Angel and nephew Graham Thomas Angel; God-mother, Victoria Thomas; best friend, Jessica (Sizemore) Tracy; step-sister, Heather (John) Florio; step-brother, G.W. MacKnight; several step-nieces and step-nephews;
She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Sylvia Jean Sears and Edith Pearl Angel; and her aunt, Janice Arnott.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6-8 pm on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE Funeral Home, Miamisburg. The family will also receive friends from 11 AM – 1 PM on Friday. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM with Pastor Terry Carlisle officiating. Burial will follow at Willow View Cemetery, Dayton.
