He attended Miamisburg High School. David made his career serving in the United States Army and also worked for several years at the Lebanon Correctional Institute.
David is survived by his wife, Kay Boggs; sons, Greg and Brandon Boggs; several grandchildren; siblings, Brenda (Frank) Brown, Billy (Phyllis) Boggs, Richard L. Boggs, and Sasha Boggs Gross; one niece and five nephews; several great nieces and nephews; as well as a host of friends and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Madge Boggs and his father, William H. Boggs, Jr.
A gathering of family & friends for David will be held Friday, August 20, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, 508 E. Linden Avenue, Miamisburg, Ohio 45342, followed by a memorial service at 12:00 PM.
