

ROSE, Douglas “Scott” age 54 of Middletown passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016 at his residence. Scott was born November 16, 1961 in Middletown, OH to Winford and Rita Lee (Brewer) Rose. He was preceded in death by his father, Winky in 2014 and a brother Clyde Stephen Rose in 1977. In addition to his mother, Scott is survived by his son, Jacob Rose of North Carolina, brothers, Terry (Tina) Rose of Middletown, Tony (Debbie) Rose of Miamisburg and Christopher Todd (Cindy) Rose of Camden, OH; god-daughters, Kimberly and Harley O’Shea; former spouses, Liz Walters and Cis Rose as well a numerous extended family and friends. Scott was a 1979 graduate of Carlisle High School and a former employee of Miami Paper. Scott was owner operator of Dayton South Remodeling and Construction Company where he enjoyed the privilege of a hard day’s work with family. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles 2309, Franklin and frequently indulged in cards games which he played with his mother. Family will receive friends from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00pm on Thursday also at the funeral home and procession to Hillgrove Cemetery, Miamisburg for burial.
