Josephine Irene "Jo" Moore Guntle

Age 87, died Wednesday, May 22, 2013 in Mesquite, Nevada. She was born March 14, 1926 in Sutton, Nebraska to Daniel H. "Shorty" and Clara Eva (Wahl) Moore. On January 20, 1946 she married Edwin L. Guntle. They then moved to Miamisburg, Ohio. She worked for 25 years for the Miamisburg School District, and retired in 1986. In 2005, she moved to Mesquite, Nevada. She promptly joined the Mesquite United Methodist Church, which she truly enjoyed. Josephine loved to bake snickerdoodles and make crackers and pickles for all her friends and neighbors. She is loved and will be missed by her many. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Edwin and two brothers, Joe and Glen. Survivors include her son, Larry (Carol) of Las Vegas, NV; three grandchildren: Heather, Teresa and Edward all of Colorado; four great grandchildren: Andy, Marlee, Addison, and Kai all of Grand Junction, CO; brother, Wayne (Darlene) of Sutton, NE; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services were held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013, at the Mesquite United Methodist Church. Graveside services are currently scheduled for October 26, 2013 at Highland Memorial Cemtery, Miamisburg.
