Kathy A. Cox

Age 64 of Miamisburg passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at her residence in Carlisle. She was born September 2, 1949 to the late Don Warrick and Treva M. [Overholser] Warrick of Miamisburg. In addition to her father, Kathy was preceded in death by her brother, Jim Warrick. Along with her mother, she is survived by her daughters, Alisha [Steve] Barton and Kara Cox, both of Miamisburg; a grandson, Matt Barton; siblings, Patt [Randy] Morgan of Springboro and Eddie [Carole] Warrick of Miamisburg, a sister-in-law, Vicky Warrick of Miamisburg and many other extended family and friends. Kathy was a 1967 graduate of Miamisburg High School. She retired from Ameritech as a maintenance administrator after over 30 years of service and most recently been a sales associate of Barnes and Noble for the past 15 years. Kathy loved to read, visit casinos, travel and spend time with family and friends. She was also an active member of the Miamisburg High School Alumni Association. Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM Monday, November 18, 2013 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg. A memorial service will follow at 12:30 PM also at the funeral home and officiated by Pastor Michael Hout. A private interment will take place at a later date in Hillgrove Cemetery, Miamisburg.
