

Kathy Sue Stebbins, age 62, passed away on March 27, 2026, after a brief battle with cancer. Born January 2, 1964, in Dayton, Ohio, Kathy expressed loyal, hard-working, selfless, thoughtful, and humorous qualities that shaped the way she loved her family.
Kathy was a 1982 graduate of Brookville High School and the Montgomery County Joint Vocational School. She gave her time generously as a past Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader and as a past 4-H advisor with the Blue Ribbon Livestock 4-H Club. For the last 25 years, she worked in the cafeteria at Valley View Local Schools, where her presence and kindness were felt by countless students and staff.
She enjoyed spending time at livestock shows and the Montgomery County Fair and will be remembered for her cooking and baking. She was consistently present and supported all of her children and grandchildren in their activities and was the heart of her family. Above all, she cherished spending time with family and spoiling her grandchildren.
Kathy is survived by her husband of 40 years, Greg Stebbins; children, Blake (Jessica) Stebbins, Brian (Brittany) Stebbins, Brittany (James) Sheppard; grandchildren, Savannah and Garrett Stebbins, Dane Stebbins, Evelyn, Lillian, and Collin Sheppard; siblings, Colleen (John) O'Diam and Becky (Derek) Keegan; mother-in-law, Joyce Stebbins; brothers-in-law, Jeff Stebbins (Sheryl Borkenhagen) and Thomas Stebbins; sisters-in-law, Denise Shepard (Scott Bishop) and Diane (Tom) Noyes; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Dorothy (Carbaugh) Rawlins; father-in-law, David Stebbins; and brother, Glen (Mary) Rawlins.
A Gathering of Family & Friends will be held from 4–8 PM on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE Funeral Home, Miamisburg. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday at the funeral home. Private burial will be held at Fairview Cemetery, West Alexandria.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton.
