Lloyd E. Trimble Sr.

TRIMBLE Sr., Lloyd E., age 85 of Miamisburg, OH, formerly of Somerset, KY passed away Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, OH. He was born July 12, 1925 in Nancy, KY to the late Huey and Molly (Rogers) Trimble. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie L. (Merrick) Trimble (1997) and a daughter-in-law, Laura Trimble (1996). Lloyd is survived by his children, Lloyd (Brenda) Trimble, Jr. of New Lebanon, OH, Kathy (Gary) Hensley of Alexandria, IN and Kent Trimble of Kettering, OH; grandchildren, Vicky (Steve) Gross of Lexington, KY, April West of New Lebanon, OH, Jennifer (Kevin) Skinner of Fishers, IN, Greg (Chista) Hensley of Muncie, IN, Amy Hensley of Alexandria, IN, Brandon Randall, Tiffany Trimble and Cortney Trimble all of Kettering, OH; great grandchildren, Jasmine, Serena, Sidney, Aubrey, Grayden, Camry and Zachary; sisters, Lucille Hamm and Faye Weddle both of Florence, KY; close friends, John and Alice and many more extended family and friends. Lloyd was a graduate of Nancy High School in KY and farmed with his father during his youth. After serving the U.S. Navy during WWII he moved to Dayton, OH and began his 32-year plus career with General Motors before retiring. Lloyd was very fond of the outdoors and was most comfortable spending his time in nature. Family will receive friends during visitation scheduled from 1:00 – 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at Somerset Undertaking Company, KY. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM also in Somerset and officiated by Pastor Russell Gross. Burial will take place at Whitis Cemetery, Nancy, KY with military honors.
