Kay enjoyed working as a maternity nurse, traveling and going on cruises. She was an avid doll collector and loved her dogs. Most important to Kay was her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Eric (Debbie) Davis, Jay Hines (Kathy), Chad (Elizabeth) Hines, Steve (Leslie) Hines, Diane (Dave) Spaulding, Jan Knostman, Aaron (Jennie) Bowman; grandchildren, Danielle (Justin) Schiele, Cody, Payton (Andrew), Kaylee, Paige, Parker, Amber (Steve) Schmelick, Misty (Daryn) Cherry, Thomas, Bret, and Danielle; great grandchildren, Carter, Joey, Isabel, Grayson, Emmy, and Kieran; sister, Joy Mindling; niece and nephews, Scott (Stephanie), Kim (Steve), and Jeff.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents; spouses, Earl Davis, Tom Hines, and Bruce Bowman; infant son, Mark; and her aunt, Marjorie K. Gaiser.
A gathering of family & friends will be held from 10 – 11 AM on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE Funeral Home, Miamisburg. Funeral services will follow at 11 AM with Celebrant Stephanie Tuerck officiating. Burial will follow at David’s Cemetery.
