She was born on June 7, 1934 in Miamisburg. Marilyn was a 1952 graduate of Miamisburg High School. She worked for many years in banking and later became the church secretary and financial secretary for Trinity Church in Miamisburg. Marilyn was a lifelong member of Trinity Church where she served as a member of the ladies guild and a leader in the ladies bazar group. She was a very talented seamstress, wonderful piano player, animal lover, and she enjoyed working in her flower garden. Marilyn did not particularly love to cook but she was known for making the best chicken and noodles. She will be remembered for being a very kind person. Everyone that knew her loved her.
Marilyn is survived by her husband of 60 years, Richard “Dick” Furneaux; and her daughter, Pamela Furneaux. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Hubler.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10 AM to 12 PM on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Trinity Church, 203 E. Linden Ave., Miamisburg, Ohio 45342. Funeral services will follow at 12 PM with Rev. Dr. Joe Getts officiating. Burial will follow at Hillgrove Cemetery, Miamisburg. Services are entrusted to GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE Funeral Home, Miamisburg.
