

“Bob”, age 70 of Miamisburg, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Lifecare Hospital of Dayton following a long illness. He was born March 28, 1944 in Miamisburg to the late Joyce (Sheritts) Dearth and his father, Granual Dearth of Miamisburg. In addition to his father, Bob is survived by his children, Aimee Sierra and Ryan Dearth both of Miamisburg; grandchildren, Lauren, Reagen and Adam; brothers, Thomas (Teresa) Dearth of Miamisburg and Terry Dearth of Dayton; sisters, Leslie (Jim) Parent of Florida, Ronee (Chuck) Flynn of Farmersville and Joyce Ratliff of Bowling Green; a special uncle, Richard (Billie) Dearth of Arizona and many other extended family. The family is especially appreciative for the loving care and support of those close to Bob including the grateful friendships of Patty and Gary Barnes, Bobbie Zink, Preston Horne, Larry West, Karen Miller, Foster Stone, Cheryl Stock and Bill Koehler. Bob was a 1962 graduate of Miamisburg High School and was a proud Miamisburg business owner having operated Bob’s Barber Shop and cutting hair in the community for over fifty years. He also extended his entrepreneurial spirit by owning a travel agency and several apartments in the area. Bob was extremely proud of his extensive baseball collection and “the great American past-time” itself. At Bob’s request no service will be held and memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice in memory of Bob.
