Ronald Ronnie G. Barnett

Age 71 of Oak Harbor, Ohio and formerly of Miamisburg passed away on Monday, March 11, 2013. Ronnie was born November 20, 1941 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Victor and Belle (Lewis)Barnett. Also preceding him in death are brother and sister-in-law, Ralph (Joyce) Barnett; sisters and brothers-in-law, Louise (Earl) Christie, Edith (Jerry) White; sister-in-law, Millie Barnett and brother-in-law, Jack Miller. Ronnie is survived by his beloved wife of 15 years, Paula (Stone) Barnett; children, Jim (Teresa) Barnett; David (Barbara) Barnett, Kellye (Jeff) Maiorano, Connie Galt, Randy (Becky) Cook; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Glenna Barnett; brother, Logan Barnett and many other extended family and friends. Ronnie is a US Army veteran and went on to work at GM for 27 years as a Millwright. He loved spending his time fishing and wood working. He is a member of the Oak Harbor American Legion Post # 114, Grand Lodge F. & A.M. of Oak Harbor, Ohio lodge # 0495 and the Fremont Fraternal Order of Eagles lodge # 712. Friends and family may visit from 12-2pm on Friday, March 15 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, 508 East Linden Ave. Miamisburg, Ohio 45342, with the funeral service immediately following at 2:00pm. Ronnie will be laid to rest at Hillgrove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society-Southwest Regional Office, 2808 Reading Rd.
