Vena B. Pennington Bush

Age 90 of Miamisburg, Ohio passed away peacefully at Elmcroft of Washington Township on Saturday, October 13, 2012. She was born July 27, 1922 in Carter County, KY to the late Farris and Chloe Lee (Porter) Pennington. Also preceding her in death is her first husband, DJ Bush on December 31, 1999, second husband, Donald “Pete” Stull, Jr. in 2003; daughter, Rita Sonnino on December 17, 2007 and her son, James David Bush on June 1, 2010. She is survived by her grandchildren, Mindy (Mark) Cornell, Debra (Greg) Arenstein, Andrew (Heather) Janes, Nathan (Ami) Bush, Ryan Bush, Alyssa Bush, Amy (Diego) Romo; great-grandchildren, Marcus, Mackenzie, Michael, & Matthew Cornell, Marley & Parker Arenstein, Savannah & Shelby Janes, Garrett & Taylor Bush, Skylar, Madeline & Malakai Bush, and Sebastian Romo. Vena lived a long life filled with love, joy, and faith. She will always be remembered for her strong spirituality and compassionate heart. She will be missed dearly by all that knew her as a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. Friends and family may visit from 7:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, October 18 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, 508 East Linden Ave., Miamisburg and also from 1:00-4:00 pm on Friday, October 19 at the funeral home. Vena will be laid to rest at the Bush Family Cemetery in Grayson, Kentucky at a later date. If desired, memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association, in memory of Vena.
