Carolyn Stack

CAROLYN STACK (nee Lockhart) age 72, passed away January 21, 2024. Caring mother of Bryan Stack (Vida), and Angela Standard (Patrick); cherished grandmother of Lindsey, Brea, Bryce and Ava; loving sister of Pat Lesnak (Bob), and Ken Lockhart (Marie); dear aunt and great aunt of many.

Carolyn was born May 19, 1951, in Logan, West Virginia. Much of her adult life was spent in New York City – pursuing a successful career in advertising. Her clients benefited from her skill and professionalism.

Carolyn’s kind and giving heart led her to adopt Lulu, a rescue dog who became her loving companion as Alzheimer’s began to affect Carolyn’s life.    

Alzheimer’s progression necessitated her, and Lulu’s, return to Ohio for support and care by her family. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested in Carolyn’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org

The family would like to express their gratitude to the Avenue at Strongsville for Carolyn’s care – with special thanks to the nurses and aids in Memory Care.

A heartfelt thanks to Pam, a one-of-a-kind, very special and giving person who assisted in Carolyn’s care. Pam’s contribution will never be forgotten.  

Funeral service 12 noon, Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at the funeral home. Entombment immediately following, Sunset Memorial Park. 

The family will receive friends from 11 am-12 noon at the A. RIPEPI AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, OH (West of I-71).
