

Clarence Harry Adams passed away peacefully on February 7, 2026 at the amazing age of 101. He was a loving father to Diane Revels (William Dudley) and Brad Adams (Peri); grandfather to Elizabeth Green (Billy), Blake Revels and Harper Adams, great grandfather to Billy, Izabella and Alexander; and brother to Kenneth. He is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Evelyn (DeCarlo), (2013), brother Donald Adams (2024), parents Clarence Adams Sr.(1973) and Gladys Kinney Adams (1983).
Clarence was born on December 14,1924 in Dunbar, Pa, a small coal mining town near Uniontown, Pa. He served in the army and was stationed in Germany during World War II. After the war, he received a bachelor's degree from the California University of Pennsylvania and later a master's degree from Kent State University. Clarence and Evelyn settled in Cleveland in the mid-50’s. Clarence worked for the Cleveland School system and retired in 1980. An avid golfer and lover of donuts, Clarence followed his love of golf and sunshine to Southern Pines, North Carolina. He and Evelyn happily resided there for 20 years. They moved back to the Cleveland area in 2000 to be near family.

A Memorial Service will be held on April 10th, 2026, at 12 Noon in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday April 10th, 2026 from 10 am – until time of service at the A. RIPEPI & SONS’ FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD MIDDLEBURG HTS., OH 44130 (West of I-71).
