Czeslawa “Tessie" Tucki (nee Pranica) went to be with the Lord her Savior, Jesus Christ on October 21, 2025. Tessie was born on June 30, 1936 in Skawa, Poland. Tessie was the beloved wife of Henryk Antoni Tucki for 65 years, loving mother of Julie (Peter) Bronowicki and Henrietta (Alex) Kawczak; loving grandmother to, Garth (Kaillie), Rachael (Colin), Henryk, Rebecca (Ben), Sarah, Trevor, Hannah, Jonah, Leah, and four great-grandchildren, Whitney, Reese, Anders and Grayson. She was preceded in death by her husband Henryk Antoni Tucki and grandson, Trevor Christian Kawczak.
Tessie met the love of her life, Henryk Tucki in a Church in Krakow, Poland, and followed her fiancé to the USA, and on October 29, 1959 got married in Youngstown, Ohio. Soon thereafter she had two daughters, Julie in San Antonio, Texas (when Henryk was serving as a Medic in the US Army), and Henrietta in Youngstown, Ohio. After moving their family from McDonald, Ohio to Parma Heights, she and her husband became dedicated members of Bethel Christian Church and faithfully attended for over 45 years. Tessie retired from Bethel Christian Church (previously known as Bethel Temple) in 2001 after 23 years of service as the Church’s accountant.
She loved her grandchildren, and they gave her immeasurable joy, thousands of smiles and hugs, and eternal memories. She enjoyed visiting them, and traveling throughout the United States (including Alaska and Hawaii), Israel, Canada, Mexico and especially to Poland to visit her sister, Stanislawa and brother-in-law Franciszek Jedrocha, and her husband Henryk Tucki’s family. Tessie enjoyed to sew, crochet and knit for her daughters. She enjoyed walking her dogs Poco, Rusty and Nicky. She was an avid reader of books and magazines, and especially loved to have daily devotions from the Holy Bible with her husband.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 10AM -11AM with a funeral service at 11AM at Bethel Christian Church, 12901 W Pleasant Valley Rd, Parma, OH 44130. Interment will follow at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery, 4700 Broadview Rd, Cleveland, OH 44109
