David A. Stepic

DAVID A. STEPIC, age 84. Beloved husband of 64 years to Barbara (nee Eble). Loving father of Mark Stepic (Denise) and Susan Dentkos (Michael). Cherished grandfather of Kayla Bauer (Drew); great grandfather and apple of his eye to Stowe Bauer. Dear brother of the late Thomas Stepic and Barbara McCartney. David was the past Grand Knight of the Brooklyn-Parma Knights of Columbus #2803, President of the Commodore Bay Homeowners Association in Marblehead, President of the Buckeye Chapter of the Model A Car Club, long time volunteer at the Brooklyn Historical Society Museum and coach of the SAS women’s softball team in Brooklyn. But he was most proud to be his family’s BIGGEST CHEERLEADER. David was a good neighbor too who loved being outside all year round. He tended to his large vegetable garden and apple orchard with pride. He cut grass on his riding mower every year on Christmas Day. The deer were his foe, whether hunting for them in Michigan in fall or chasing them out of his acreage on his homestead. He will be missed by his furry lap buddy, Yeti. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Brooklyn Historical Society Museum, P.O. Box 44422, Brooklyn, Ohio 44144. Funeral services Friday September 30, 2022 at the funeral home 10:00AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends THURSDAY 3 – 7 PM at the A. RIPEPI & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS (WEST OF I-71).
