Domenico D'Agostino

Domenico D'Agostino, age 94 passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. Beloved husband of Lorenza (nee Morena). Loving father of Carmelo D'Agostino (Patti) and Maria Hebebrand (Mike). Cherished grandfather of Angela Stelts (Matt), Joseph D'Agostino (Sarah), Matthew Hebebrand (Holly), Michael Hebebrand Jr, and Domenic Hebebrand (Kristen). Devoted great grandfather of James, Samuel, Charlie, Ava, Lydia, Carlie, Clare, Mila, Nico, Leo and Gregory. Dear brother of Maria and the late Caterina, Francesca, Domenica and Carmela. Son of Carmine and Maria D’Agostino (Nunnari)(both deceased). Uncle, cousin and friend of many.

“Domenico was born in the small town of Laganadi outside the City of Reggio Calabria, Italy. He grew up working and helping his father with farming and forestry. After serving a two year stint in the Italian military, he migrated to northern Italy in the city of Turin, where he married his wife of 68 years Lorenza, and worked for the Italian auto maker Lancia. At age 40 he decided to move to the United States to give his family better opportunities, and settled in Cleveland, Ohio where his sister and family had resided since 1954. Domenico worked various jobs until he retired with Local 310 in 1993. He loved his whole family, socializing with friends, loved making wine and sausages, playing cards and growing fruit trees and a vegetable garden. He loved traveling and spending his winters in Florida with friends.”

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday August 12, 2025 in St. Mary's Church, 250 Kraft Street, Berea, OH at 10:00 AM. Final Resting Place will be at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday August 11, 2025 from 4 - 7 PM at THE A. RIPEPI AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, OHIO 44130 (WEST of I-71)
