As part of the celebration of Dylan's life, and as comfort for his family, they have supplied ornaments in hope that you will share a special memory or funny story you had with Dylan by writing it on their ornament at the visitation. They will cherish these tokens for years to come. The ornaments will be on display during the service, on the beautiful Christmas trees from the tree lot where he worked since he was 15..."My most favorite job ever". In his search for a career path, his first criteria was a job that would allow 6 weeks off during the holiday season so that he could work at the tree lot each year. (Dave's Trees, Southland Plaza/130th, Middleburg Hts.). Dylan had many favorites...the family pet dog "Gracie", golf, snowboarding, the color orange, pulling pranks, working out, and Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Please no flowers, as the charities chosen by his family in remembrance are: -Cleveland City Mission: Dylan's grandparents on both sides of the family volunteered for many years at their local city missions. This fall, Dylan, his dad and uncle participated in the "Ride for the Mission" - a motorcycle ride that benefits the work of the City Mission to care for the homeless, provide special programs to transition men, women and children from living on the street to holding jobs and live on their own. Having had such a great time, they planned to make this an annual family event. (The City Mission, 5310 Carnegie Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44103). -Lutheran West High School, Rocky River: Dylan and his siblings attend(ed) Lutheran West, and were blessed by the staff and fellow students - several of whom remained friends long after graduation.
