I can't believe it has been 6 years since you left and yet it seems just like yesterday. I am so glad you aren't suffering anymore, but still miss talking to you! Ed, I wanted to thank you for being an inspiration to my son who became a D.O.like you. Without your guidance, he would have never achieved all that he did. He too is in Geriatrics and got straight A's throughout his years at Ohio University. It is so nice to know that he is finally being acknowledged as "real Dr.s as you and I both knew how it was thought by some. Glad you are at peace, finally!!

Today was a really tough day for me.  You and dad have left an aching void that I can not begin to explain.
It was so very nice to read the entry from one of your college buddies.

Although the pain lingers my love for you will never cease.

Many years have gone by since I last saw you. I remember the hours we spent in pharmacy school hanging out and studying all of the time for exams. You moved in to the dorm room across from me our last year and you were just like a brother to me. We would joke around and I can still hear you say "when donkeys fly!!!" Then we would laugh. This life took us far apart to follow our paths. The next life will bring us back together again as friends and brothers. Save a seat at the table for me. I love you always.

I am very sorry to hear about Ed. He had contacted me via email recently and I was hoping to visit when we were back in Ohio later this year. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. From reading your guest book entries, I'm glad that you are able to take comfort that he is now with the Lord.

Ed and I were born on the very same day, so I always think of him every March 3rd. I can still remember running in to him at the Post Office the day we turned 18 and had to register with Selective Service! Please know that he is fondly remembered.

you know i sit here and think about Ed, and one moment keeps coming back to me. i think i was 17 years old, so that is about 1993, Ed had not long gotten his '72 vet and he and i drove out to Corvette City and spent the day looking at different cars and parts. It is one of the most vivid memories i have of Ed. i will miss the times when, during family gatherings, he and i could talk cars.
