Esther Ann Woide (nee Rohde) was born in Cleveland, Ohio on August 8, 1930. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, June 12, 2025 in Olney, Maryland. Esther was preceded in death by her husband Clarence, parents, Walter and Maude Rohde and five siblings, Ruth, Walter, Henry, David and Orma. She lovingly leaves behind her daughters Lynette Woide and Ruth Dalgetty and her son-in-law Michael Dalgetty. She was a devoted grandmother to her grandchildren Samuel Hasan, Nathan Dalgetty (Mercedes) and Hannah Valle (James) and her great-grandson J. She will also be missed greatly by her “dog-babies” Deuce and Bruno.
We would like to thank JSSA Hospice and all the wonderful staff at Winter Growth Memory Care center in Olney, Maryland where she resided since January. They all provided loving and devoted care and afforded her the highest dignity in her last stages of life.
A private burial will be held in Ohio.
