Dear Dolores and Family,
Wish I could be with you to share memories of growing up with Hap. No one could ask for a better friend. 
When I would help him do his paper route, he always treated me to a Bireleys Orange at Dons Deli. 
He was always ready for baseball or football games at the Calgary field.
His blue Oldsmobile Rocket 88 was a proud addition to the Hi-Lifters Hot Rod Club. 
He was always willing to share his home, his mom and dad, and his brother Jack with any of his friends. 
He would spend hours talking while he sold cars at various lots, a job he loved. 
May he rest in peace. 
And may the solace of our Heavenly Father ease all your sorrow.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. One of my favorite memories of Uncle Hap happened when Eleanor, Boots, Midge, George, Hap. and Jerry went out leaving all of us. kids at home to cause chaos. Some how a lamp got broken. We called.        and told them what happened and quickly Hap came to see the damage. As we all stood there in a line, scared to death that we were all  in big trouble. Hap looked at it with a serious face looking at all of us and back at the lamp. Then just smiled and said " looks like you broke it" . All of us kids began to breath again. 
I love and miss you all! Hap is in a better place but this world was better with him one of the greatest men I've ever known

I would like to extend my condolences to all of the families that loved and were affected by Mr. H's passing.

Growing up next door to him and Mrs. H was a blessing and an adventure. They let me become part of the family attending mass, breakfasts, family gatherings, dinners, holidays, and even took me on vacation to Nashville. 

He was a serious man with a heart and soul of gold. I am thankful for all the time I spent in the Harral household. Although looking back I now ponder how Hap and George survived all those girls (not a boy in the bunch until they started to marry) maybe it was because they had each other. I am sure George was waiting for his golfing partner with open arm.

I will never be able to put into words what the Harral family has meant to me in my life.  Hap was my mentor for many years.  
When go through life there are always a couple of people who very special Hap and your Mom are at the top. Hugs and kisses. He will always be remembered.

Mary Beth and Family,

Take comfort in knowing how blessed and honored you were to have a man like your add for so many wonderful years.  Too many children go to bed each night praying for the wonderful parents you always have had.  Of course you will miss him greatly.  I know firsthand the "missing" never ends. The greatest way you can attempt to pay your dad back is to live as he would want you to live.

I love you and I am sending prayers your way.

I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one. I'm sending you a hug from afar.

Living in the "commune" with Hap and the rest of the group has been one of the best experiences I could ever ask for.  This little family has stuck together through thin but mostly thick times lately at least.  Hap, you were like a second grandpa to me and I can't thank you enough for that.  I am so sorry to lose you, but keep watching over us with the help of Grandpa George, Linda, Karen, and baby Rachel.

Growing up with Hap is something that I will always hold dear to my heart.  As a child, I was often scared of him but as I grew up, I realized that inside Hap, the biggest and warmest heart existed.  I am so glad to call him my other ‘dad' and also glad that my kids and husband had the pleasure of having Hap in their lives.  Please know that Bag-a-Lions, Beauregard, Banjo and Bomb love you and will miss you with all of our hearts.  

To Dolores, Coleen, Mary, Judy, Brian, Zack, Matt, Katie and Jeff – we send you love and prayers as you deal with this very difficult situation.  Know that we love you and are always here for you.
