

Henryk was born April 13, 1936 at Olesiow, in the Province of Stanislowow, Poland (presently Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine) , from mother Julia Kleiner Tucki and father Jozef Tucki. Henryk and his mother were separated from his father during World War-II when his father joined the Polish Army to fight the Nazis, with the British in Italy and Egypt. After WW-II his father could not return to Poland due to Soviet intervention in Poland and remained in London, in the Polish Army through 1947, and in the UK until he emigrated to the USA in 1951. Henryk, after serving in the Polish Marines, and his mother were reunited with his father after 18 years when they emigrated to the United States. Henryk gained his US citizenship and served in the US Army as a medic at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas. Henryk married the love of his life, Czeslawa Maria Pranica on October 29, 1959 and soon thereafter had two daughters, Julie in San Antonio, Texas and Henrietta in Youngstown, Ohio. After moving his family from McDonald to Parma Heights, Ohio, he and his wife became dedicated members of Bethel Christian Church and faithfully attended for over 40 years. Henryk retired from the BF Goodrich Aerospace Company as a jet landing gear inspector in Cleveland, Ohio in 2000.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Czeslawa (Pranica) Tucki; his daughter Julie (Peter) Bronowicki; his daughter Henrietta (Alex) Kawczak; his grandchildren, Garth (Kaillie), Rachael (Colin), Henryk, Rebecca (Ben), Sarah, Hannah, Jonah, and Leah. Preceded in death by his grandson, Trevor.
He enjoyed traveling throughout North America, Canada, Israel and especially to Poland to visit his cousins, friends and wife’s family. Throughout his life he enjoyed boating and fishing on Lake Erie, the Gulf of Mexico, Drummond Island, and many lakes in Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Canada. His grandchildren gave him immeasurable joy and he felt blessed to see both of his great grand-daughters Whitney and Reese.
A visitation for Henryk will be held Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a funeral service at 11AM at Craciun Funeral Home,14925 E Bagley Rd, Middleburg Heights, Ohio 44130. Interment services will follow at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery, 4700 Broadview Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44109.
