Irene M. Brucchieri

Irene M. Brucchieri (nee Stankiewicz), a resident of Middleburg Heights, Ohio, passed away on February 16, 2026, at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Ernest J. for 68 years; loving daughter of the late Albert and Frances (nee Jablonowski); dear sister of the late Albert J. Stankie (Helen) and Raymond V. "Bud" Stankie (Mildred); wonderful Aunt of 11 nieces and nephews.

Irene loved traveling, especially with her late husband Ernie. She enjoyed sandy beaches, sunsets, dining out, and occasionally trying her luck at the casino. She also cherished her time at the Middleburg Heights Community Center, and taking vigorous walks through the nearby Metro Parks. She was a devoted member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, where she made many friends. She truly appreciated her wonderful neighbors of nearly 50 years. Irene loved working in the yard and planting special flowers every spring. Most importantly, Irene had a strong faith and adored her family.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday February 28, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Final resting place Holy Cross Cemetery.

The family will receive friends SATURDAY (February 28th) 11 AM - 1 PM at the A. RIPEPI AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY RD., MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS (WEST OF I-71)
