Jackie will always be with my thoughts and prayers for ever.She was the sweetest and loving Mom to all her children.When she would visit Tom and his family I would always make it a point to go over hungry so Jackie could fix me something good to eat. She would comfort me as I was her own child and I will never forget that about her.I will miss you Jackie and hope to see you in heaven.

Grandma Jackie was an amazing woman. I can't remember one time that she got mad at me. Even though i wasn't part of the family, it felt like she was my grandma. She was so kind to me and I remember every trip, sleepover, party, and whatever else I did with them. She was so kind and caring. Her food was the best! I know she is in a better place and she isn't hurting anymore. My thoughts and prayers go out to you guys. Love and miss you Grandma Jackie!

Dear Tom and Boys:  I haven't seen all of you in quite a while.  Heard about Jackie.  Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers at this time.

Nanny was a wonderful person and even better grandma. When my mom told us that she passed away and went to heaven, I thought about the great and fun filled things we did. I still can't get it through my mind that she is gone, and I do not want to even think, that she is gone. Whenever I look at the ern I start to cry, because then it hits me that she is really gone. I feel bad for my papa, becuase whenever she would walk into the room he would just light up. I remember, a couple years ago, Jennifer and I were swimming and Grandma Jackie was floating on the raft and Jennifer and I tipped her over. Also we would have nanny sit on the floor and we would put the glue-on acrilic nails on her toes.  I will miss her very much. I LOVE YOU NANNY!

I'll never be able to fully explain how much Jackie meant to me. For me she is the epitome of love, comfort, and home. I value my time with her more than anything. Nobody could make you feel more loved, more special than she could. I miss her voice, her hugs, and her amazing ability to make you think you were perfect. To me, she was perfect, and I'll miss her every day.

I will never forget the compassion of the Embrogno family enveloping me, the German-Hungarian, into their loving Italian family. Grandma Jackie wasn't really my grandmother but it sure felt like she was.  She was always good to me and my family and made me feel like a part of hers.  Especially on cannoli day even though I don't have an ounce of Italian in me.  Love you and miss you.

What I write will not be enough to express how I will miss Jackie. Although, I am too old for Jackie to have been my grandmother, I could only wish that she were. I shared great memories of girls Bunco nights,lunches with mommies and kids, movies, "although the last one we attended together, she let us know we better pay closer attention to the ratings",bbq's, Em and Jen's birthdays, school activities, dance recitals, 1st communions, and sometimes just nice relaxed moments where we could share who one another was, where we came from, who we evolved into as a person,shared stories of the children, our views in life etc. I could talk with Jackie as if she were my mother,sister, or friend, depending on the subject at the moment. I have looked forward to the spring/summer when she arrived back in Nevada for visits just as much as Shirl, Tom, Em and Jen. I learned that when she said she was going back home to Ohio on a certain date, I knew I still had some Jackie time to share, because she always extended her airline tickets. I loved it! I knew I had more time with her. Which leaves me now to much saddness, because I will truly miss her and the fun times we shared. My summers have changed forever, as I know Tom, Shirley, Em, and Jens have. Thank you goes out to the entire Embrogno family for sharing Jackie with so many who instantly grew to Love her. I know you have been accepted into Heaven with open arms Jackie. God Loves you and so do I. My condolences go out to the entire Embrogno Family. God is with you.

Grandma Jackie, a wonderful lady who touched the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know her. We are all blessed to have spent time with a most loving, and caring woman. Loved by everyone and missed by all.

I know how hard this time is for you all. I will pray for God to ease the pain and grief that seems endless! Jackie was a beautiful soul and treated me and my boys like her own. "Grandma Jackie " was like a Grandma to our kids. She was a great lady, and will be missed by so many!!! Our prayers are with your whole family~

I will never forget the many weekends I would spend with Jackie while she fed me junk food and let me stay up late and watch movies. She was like a second grandmother to me, I will miss her dearly.

Grandma Jackie, as we knew her, was an amazing woman. Wise, loving, sensitive yet strong. Every time the boys knew Grandma Jackie was coming, they would get so excited to go see her. Not just for the goodies, but for the love she gave. Over the last couple months, we've prayed every night that Jackie and her family be lifted up in God's peace, and that his will be done. It's without a doubt that Heaven has just received a new angel.

I only met Jackie a handful of times, but whenever our paths did cross, there was always a smile on her face. She was such a huge part of my cousin Shirley, and her family's, life. I know she will be missed by so many people... but it's wonderful to see that she had an impact on us all. Her love, laughter and smile will never be forgotten.

Jackie was like a grandmother to Savanna & a dear friend to me. We shared some great talks & great meals, of course. We were blessed to have the time we did w/her. May we all follow her example & open our hearts & homes to one another. Sending our love & condolences to the family during this difficult time.

Jackie and Tom were two of our favorite neighbors when we lived across the street from them on Brandywine Rd. and Jackie was so happy for us when we bought our house last summer.   I have missed her since we have moved and just a few weeks ago my son said that we have to have Jackie over to see the new house.  I am so sad that it won't happen now but we have only good memories of her.

Jackie not only loved my children and grandchildren she was also a dear friend.  A typical "Italian Nanni" she was always "in charge" and always had things under control. I always looked forward to visiting my family in Henderson especially when Jackie was there because I knew I was going to be treated with the best meatballs, sausage and pasta meal anywhere on the planet.  I will miss you Jackie!!!  My sincere condolences to her husband and my friend Tom Sr, my son in law Tommy and my daughter Shirley and the girls as well as the rest of the entire Embrogno family. We had moved from the east side of Cleveland to Brandywine in Parma Heights and so did the Embrogno family, the Imbrigiotta family and the Vitanza's.   What a great time we all had with such wonderful neighbors who really cared about one another.  I have many great memories of Brandywine and of Jackie that I will cherish forever.  Jackie was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend.  She would amaze me with the way cleaned and cooked, etc.  I remember staying in a hotel with a bunch of girls and we would get up in the morning and everything was immaculately put away.  If she made you a sandwich it looked like a photograph.  To me she was the original Martha Stewart!  She was truly an amazing friend and I will miss her kindness, laughter and her sweet voice. I have been an Embrogno 16 years; but the moment I met Jackie she made me feel like I was always part of the family. I have been told countless times that I am very lucky to get along with my mother in law.  As I reflect on all the memories we have with the Embrognos and Herendeens, I now truly understand what people meant. There was no doubt in anyone's minds that her life was all about Nicholas, Giana, Emily and Jennifer. Her world revolved around them. I am grateful for the love she showed to all my family and friends. I know my mom, brother and his children feel our pain as well. I was proud to share her with all of them. Now, instead of being in Nevada half of the year, Jackie is with us everyday. I will seek guidance from her in my prayers and find comfort when I hear Jackie's voice in my thoughts. I know she is in God's loving arms smiling down at us. Jackie will forever be in our hearts.

Jackie was a woman who wore many hats. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, friend, amazing cook and could clean a house like no other!  My family knew her for many years thru our friendship with Tommy and Shirley and during that time she was "Grandma Jackie" to my girls and definately like a mom to me.  Her words of wisdom and advice helped me thru many trying times. We also had a great time teasing eachother and laughing. The love she had for my kids was unconditional and the true definition of what a grandma is.  We will truly miss you.  You blessed our lives in more ways than you can imagine.  We love you!

Jackie was a wonderful Lady. She always made us feel like family. She was kind, loving and funny. The kids wanted me to share the time that her and Shirley took several kids to the midnight showing of GLEE. Apparently, Jackie wanted to get there 1st. She raced Shirley and won. Though I'm not so sure Shirley was racing her. The kids laughed so much that night and next day talking about. Just thinking of how serious she was about it. They had a fun time that night. Grandma Jackie was one of my favorite people. We got along so well. Grandma Jackie was amazing in every aspect, she was a great person. She'd always have my back and always had nothing but great things to say, and when I needed it, she'd provide me with advice no one else gave to me. She was someone I could talk too about anything, and that's what I'll miss the most. She had been one of the few people who really understood me, and no one will ever replace her, or have the impact she did on my life.

I am fortunate that Jackie loved me as if I were her true daughter. She embraced me 33 years ago and never let go. What I am most thankful for is that she blessed my children and my nieces with a precious gift...they each have enjoyed the unconditional and overwhelming love of a completely devoted grandma. She truly lived for them and she made sure that they knew this every moment that she shared with them. Her absence in their lives will be greatly felt, but I take comfort in knowing that she is watching over them and beaming with pride.

Our mother passed yesterday. Jackie Embrogno was a tremendous woman. Although she was my mom, she was also a mom to all my friends. If someone loved me, she loved them. If you were around her, you would not leave her house hungry or without a hug and hearing her tender, loving voice. When she said hello to someone, it sounded and felt more like " I love you". When she asked if you were hungry, it sounded like " I love you" . Mom, we will all miss you and never forget all of the incredible love you showed and shared with all of us.

Grandma Jackie will greatly be missed! We love her so much! Even though we wern't blood related she treated us like famliy. Also her cooking and baking were the best. I remember that every time me and my family were over she made cookies and that brought the whole family together. Grandma Jackie we will miss you! ???

Jackie will be terribly missed. Whenever I was at the Embrogno house for a sleepover and Jackie was there, she always had a smile on her face, (plus she made AMAZING cookies!) It's going to be so different not seeing her bright face around there anymore. Even though it's going to be hard to get used to not having Jackie around, she is up in heaven smiling down at everyone she knows and loves. Jackie Embrogno was an amazingly sweet and kind woman, and she will be forever in our hearts.

We love you grandma Jackie!! You will always stay in our hearts forever! We will miss u!

Jackie will be missed by our family. She was always there for us when we needed her. Some memories of Jackie...The day after I came home from the hospital with our third child was a horribly rainy Monday. My oldest had just started kindergarten and Dave had to go to work. Jackie showed up and waited at the end of the driveway, in the pouring rain for the school bus, with her. Of course she brought cookies too.The night my father-in-law was dying, Jackie came to the hospital and took my children home with her. Just two examples, but they show she was a woman with a big heart. Family to all who knew her. I know we will think of her on all the holidays in the future. Love and miss you Jackie.
