

James Aaron Nesbitt Jr. age 90 of North Royalton Ohio, passed away peacefully February 8, 2015 surrounded by his family. He was born May 25 1924 in Marlette, Michigan to James and Martha Nesbitt. He is survived by his wife Lulu Marie Nesbitt (nee: Rottarr) of 67 years; his children James Aaron (Ann) Nesbitt III of Brook Park, Ohio and Paulette (Terry) Halk-Johnson of Eagle River, Alaska. He was a treasured grandfather of Benjamin Aaron Nesbitt, Rebecca Jean Nesbitt, Adrienne Marie Nesbitt, Jonathan Aaron (Clarinda) Halk,James David Halk,Christopher Jason Halk, and Sherry Johnson; and great-grandfather of Jonathan Halk, Levi Halk, Daniel Halk. Nathan Halk, and Mallory Halk.
James was a WWII veteran in the Navy, who served in D-day during the Normandy invasion. He retired from the Oakland County Road Commission after 30 years as a mechanic, truck driver and supervisor. Jim was an avid fisherman for 25 years while living in Cape Coral, Florida. He was also an outdoors man, loved hunting, camping, gardening, and spending time with his family and friends. Jim was a dedicated member of Parma Heights Baptist Church where he and Lulu have attended since 2006.
FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS ON THURSDAY FEBRUARY 12TH FROM 10-11AM AT PARMA HEIGHTS BAPTIST CHURCH, 8971 W. RIDGEWOOD DR, PARMA HEIGHTS 44130. Memorial service 11AM.
