Janet Stanislav

Janet Stanislav, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on April 20, 2026, at the age of 88 in North Royalton, Ohio. She was born on July 12, 1937, in Cleveland, Ohio to Joseph Sliz and Rose Patla. She met the love of her life Charles at 14 years old, and they were married 65 loving years. Janet lived a life filled with faith and was deeply devoted to her family.

She is survived by her sons Nicholas C. Stanislav (Betsy), Charles J. Stanislav (Grace), grandchildren Aubrey Albaugh (Dave), Niko Stanislav (Natalie), Alex Stanislav (Andrea), David Stanislav, Charlie Stanislav (Kaitlyn), and 5 adoring great-grandchildren, as well as many other friends and family. She was preceded in death by the love of her life Charles R. Stanislav.

Janet will be remembered for her kind words, stories, and sharp mind. She brought joy to those around her.

A memorial service will be held on May 1st, 2026, at 11am at Bethel Lutheran Church 7171 Pearl Road, Cleveland, OH 44130 with a luncheon to follow for friends and family. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
