Jeanette, age 88 (nee Patricelli), born August 3, 1936, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 28, 2025, in Hudson, Ohio. Jeanette was born in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of the late Domenico and Rosa (nee Monaco) Patricelli and graduated from West High School. Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Stanley. Jeanette and Stanley raised their children in Lakewood for 31 years, and also lived in Seven Hills, Parma Heights and most recently, Hudson. Proud mother of Rosemarie (Chuck) Hoover, Thomas (Anne) Kerka and David (Lisa) Kerka. Loving “Grammy” to grandchildren Jaimie Kerka, Katherine Kerka (Kenny Reeb), David Kerka, Caroline Kerka, Miles Hoover and Drew Hoover (Hailey).
Jeanette’s volunteerism stretched far and wide and included Lakewood Jaycees, Girl Scouts of Northeast Ohio, Playhouse Square Redcoats and multiple volunteer roles with St. Luke and St. Matthias Catholic churches. Jeanette found immense joy in her family and friendships and cherished every gathering and milestone. She had a talent for making all feel welcome—her warm smile leaving a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know her. Jeanette delighted in sharing home-cooked meals, lively stories and laughter around her table, creating memories that will be treasured by all who loved her. Her legacy of kindness, resilience and devotion to her loved ones will continue to inspire and uplift for generations to come.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 3, 2025, from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at Craciun Funeral Home, 14925 E. Bagley Rd., Middleburg Heights. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10AM at St. Matthias Church, 1200 W. Sprague Rd., Parma OH 44134. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park.
