JOSEPH D. ALVADO, age 87. Passed away peacefully April 29, 2018 in Florida. Beloved husband of 24 years to Louise (nee Vlach). Loving father of Margaret (Frank), Daniel (deceased) (Christine), Robert, Renee, Lisa (Pete), Susan (Bob) and Mary (Joe). Cherished grandfather of Melanie, Melissa, Lily, Jessica, Megan, Katie; great grandfather of Hailey. Dear brother of Pancho (Susan), Carol (Rick), Gloria (Charlie, deceased) and the late Jimmy. Also survived by nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Joe was a 1953 graduate of Kent State University where he excelled in basketball and baseball. U.S. Army Veteran. Celebration of Life Service Saturday May 26, 2018 at the funeral home 3:00PM. Final resting place Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends SATURDAY 1:30 – 3:00 PM at the A.
