KAREN M. LAPINSKI

Karen M. Lapinski, age 72. Cherished mother of Cheryl Hugo (Terry, Jr.). Cherished grandmother of Terry III and Darian Hugo. Dear sister of Thomas Lapinski, Diane Thomas, Michael Lapinski and the late Dale Lapinski. Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. Karen was a woman who loved the simple things in life: butterflies, her garden of roses and quality time with the family. Many considered her strong, brave, caring and loving. She was a selfless person who put the happiness of others before her very own. Karen was the type of woman who smiled at the sound of an Elvis Presley song, enjoyed reading her books and playing her crossword puzzles, and cherished her Betty Boop and nutcracker knickknacks. She was known for her home cooked meals, Polish dishes that she passed down from her mother and grandmother, and enjoyed baking her holiday cookies and nut roll each year. Karen touched the lives of so many people, and will be greatly missed by those she created such fond memories with over the years.
