Katie Mackenzie Sanchez, age 37, of North Royalton, Ohio passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 14, 1985. She is survived by her parents Cory M. Sanchez and Gale M. (Robert) Ganley, her sister, Lindy M. Sanchez, her beloved nephew, Colin M. Sanchez, her grandmother, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Katie was a beautiful person inside and out and loved with her whole being. Everyone who knew her loved her. She looked for and found the beauty in everything, especially the people she loved. She loved her animals, her music, her singing, her art, her friends and her family. She fought bravely and fiercely, and we loved her "to the moon and back".
Sleep now Katie. Your time with us was too short, but you taught us so much. To love unconditionally, to forgive freely, to laugh at ourselves, to be the best we could be, to fight for our faith and to always look for the good in each other. You were funny, smart, courageous and loyal. If only you could have loved yourself as you did us, things would be different. We are brokenhearted and crushed without you and there is darkness in the space you used to be. We are grieving now, but you are safe in Jehovah God's memory, and he will bring you back to us healthy and happy. We will see you again, and we will have unending joy that no one will be able to take away from us. (John 16:22)
