She was born in Cleveland, the daughter of the late Norman and Margaret (nee Schwaab) Hulec. She was the beloved wife of 45 years to Theodore R. Kmitt, who predeceased her on January 3, 2002; loving mother of Marge Grizzanti, Sue (Michael) Stevens, Ann Marie (Richard) Stevens, Jean Belasco (Raymond Powers) and the late Lori Kmitt; cherished grandmother of Billy (Carrie), Mandy, Angela, Elizabeth (Tim), Mikey (Christina), Lewis (Nicole), Sarah, Samantha (Scott), April, Kayla, Annie, Michelle, Nicole, Holly and great-grandmother of Maddie, Brady, Gracie, Colin, Gavin, Nolan, Elli, Dolly, Cooper, Mia, Malina, Marquez, Cami, Shawn, Adam, Richard, Lilly, Anna, Brayden, Austin, Marilyn, Mallory, Michael, Mavis, Mordecai and Cash; dear sister of Joe (Lynn) Hulec, Jeannie (Bob) Brandt and the late Ray (Marsha) Hulec; adored aunt of many.
Lillian was employed with Albion Road Elementary School for 35 years and was a former Girl Scout Leader. She was famous for her unique one-liners and everyone was drawn to her for her open-minded advice as she was a great listener and one to never judge. She loved her family and had a very special bond with all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.
