I still think of her every spring when the weather warms.  I had made way over to her house and she was painting her bedroom.  It was the first nice warm day of the year.  The joy and peacefulness I felt that day spending with  her has stuck with me and makes me smile every year.  I have a family now and I am very happy.   I always felt one day we would meet again and show pictures of our kids and look back fondly of our brief time together.   Life is about living and laughing and loving each other and knowing people really aren’t gone when they die.  We have all the good memories to sustain us until we see them again.

A high school friend recalled I once worked for someone named Vodraska and passed this along to me. I remember your twins when they were about 3 years old. My condolences to you, your family and the Wesnitzers.

I am blessed to have spent my childhood with her. She has left me with sweet and kind memories. She never had an unkind thing to say . She was a well rounded person-athletic, smart , funny , artistic , love able, and creative. I think the rainbows will be brighter this year.

I worked with Niki at alloy Bellows, she was a very sweet person, she will be missed, RIP.

Niki was my hair stylist and while I only had the pleasure of her company a few times, she has left a lasting impression upon me.  We had a wonderful connection during my time sitting in her chair.  I loved to hear her share stories about her family and her roller derby experiences.  She always made me laugh and I loved her sense of humor!  My deepest sympathy to her family and friends.

To lose someone so young is unfair but while she was here she left her mark not only with  her art and creativity but with the memories  her friends will now carry with them the rest of their lives. I had the pleasure of knowing her through roller derby. I'm glad she was surrounded by her derby family doing something she loved. Sending love to all her family and friends in this difficult time

Niki was always smiling. I met her in the 6th grade. She was a wonderful person. She will be missed.

Our Dearest Niki...we are so saddened at the loss of such a beautiful & loving niece & cousin as in you.  We regret that the distance in miles didn't allow us more time to spend together with you and the rest of the family, but find comfort in the wonderful memories that we have of our visits to Cleveland.  We also find peace in knowing that God called you home for a greater purpose, albeit sooner than any of us would have wanted, but he obviously needed a very special angel and called on our Niki. I met Luna (Niki) in Roller Derby.We car pooled with Ms. Creant( Val) To our Fresh Meat practices.We then made the Pyromanics Team of the BRRG. I grew to know her amazing personality over this time. My sincere condolences to the Special Vodraska family,
  I met your wonderful daughter in a special way around 2 yrs ago, through your wonderful son, Matt. I work in Lake County at a Municipality plant (making Electricity) where I met Matt, he contracts there making repairs. I did notice he is highly intelligent and a skilled craftsmen. A nice guy. While talking with him, I mentioned something about JESUS, and he mentioned to me, his sister Nicole goes to a church in Middleburg Hts. Well that is where I have been going,(50 miles away),there are great people there,with one thing in common learning JESUS,so I would travel there. Well the next Sunday, I met her at church. What a dear and sweet lady. She was a Greeter there, she would greet people at the door and serve in other ways, she blessed many people including myself there. She is so kind. 
 I found out, she discovered JESUS was the Lover of her Soul, and she wanted to learn more of HIM. So I feel great comfort now, knowing she is there with HIM now, A place with no more tears and no more fears.
 If I may add, when I went back to work and mentioned to Matt. I met Nicole, I told him, knowing he told me they were twins, that she received all the beauty. :)
 My prayer for the Vodroska family would be that You feel The Holy Comforter in a special way now and the rest of your lives.

So many years ago, art brought Niki and I together. Through our friendship, Izzy and Matt met. We soon all became family. As love grew, so did our extended family to include Violet, Addie, and soon Isa Wrynne. Niki was a beautiful, artistic free spirit, who will always be with us and loved very much. Sherry, Rick, Matt and family, no words can express how deeply sorry we are for the loss of your beloved Niki.  I have known Niki since she was a young girl, she and my daughter Kim were best friends when they were in grade school.  I sat at my kitchen table the morning after her passing having coffee in a mug she gave me as a young girl.  I remembered the times they spent riding their bikes back and forth to each others homes and all the sleep overs they had.  I can still hear the laughter coming from the upstairs.  When I saw her last, she was still the same wonderful, funny, caring and loving girl I remember from many years ago.  Thank you for sharing your daughter with all of us.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

My BEST friend in this entire world! We have know each other since we were little girls & I am SO grateful you chose me to be your friend! I will forever remember all the silly things we did... Our sleep overs, our favorite movie (Dirty Dancing, swimming for HOURS & trying that lift from the movie (lol), eating "cheese balls" until it almost made us sick! All of our bike rides. I am also so happy you were apart of my children's lives - you always knew how to help me keep my sanity on those days where I thought they were going to drive me crazy! You made me laugh ALL the time when I wanted to cry! I will miss our "dinners" but just know, you ALWAYS have a permanent place setting at our dinner table! I love you to the moon & back ;)

Niki was a fantastic person.  She worked so hard at roller derby, always asking for feedback, and ways she could improve.  And she always did it with a smile on her face and a positive attitude.  She was always ready with a compliment for others.  She will be sorely missed by her derby family, and my heart goes out to her non-derby family.

Niki and I were in Girl Scouts together and cheered together on the Packers football team for Brook Park.  She was always so kind and caring toward everyone.  I always looked up to her. She was a great example of a wonderful young lady!  I'll never forget all the fun times we had together! She was always smiling and made me laugh.

While it's been many years since I worked with Niki at Rally's, I will always remember her as a wonderfully nice and talanted person.  My condolences go out to her family.

Niki and I went to Midpark together. She was one of the nicest, kindest people I had the honor of getting to know. May her family know that she will always be remembered and missed. God bless her family at this time.

I did Brook Park Cheerleading when we were in grade school and went to high school with Nikki, I will always remember just how nice she was and was always smiling. My thoughts and prayers with you.

Niki (Luna)

There aren't words that can describe the loss that her family and friends are feeling right now. I pray  that in time their hearts will heal. Luna had to have been one of the most creative people I have ever met. She did my hair for our Pyro pick and when I wanted to take my “Action” shot she held my scarf to make me look like I was going really fast. She always had a kind word or corny joke to help any situation. The last conversation I had with her on Sunday night we were joking and laughing and I will always remember her in this way. RIP Luna I will miss you more than you will ever know.

Niki was an absolute sweetheart. She was the kindest person I knew. May she rest in peace with her maker. You will be missed terribly.

Coaching Luna on the Pyros was a joy. Watching her grow in skill and confidence each week meant a great deal to me. She had the most beautiful shy smile that she would flash just before she'd give me a good hit or fly past me. I will miss seeing that smile on and off the track. Niki is going to be greatly missed.

Your creativity will live on with me .... forever. I am the honored one, just to have known you, if even only for a short time ... I am better for it. I will miss looking to you for a reassuring smile, or a quick witted comment that would make me giggle. I feel for all your family and friends, and hope they can find peace in knowing how many lives you have touched.

Niki was a perfect blend of spunk and sweetness. She was a delight to be around, and was so eager to learn. She has left a big hole in the Burning River Roller Girls family. We will miss her dearly.

Niki was a high school classmate that I will always remember having a smile on her face and sweet kind word to say. She made everyone feel important. Not only is she an angel in Heaven now, but she was an angel here on earth. May God be with her entire family and give them all the strength love and support to get them through this difficult time. Niki will always be with you!

I'm sorry I didn't get to know "Luna" more while she was in derby, but I think her memories of skating with girls that cared about her and laughed with her would be comforting--my thoughts and support are with her family.

Niki was always happy and wonderful to be around. BRRG will definitely miss her! Condolences to all her family and friends. She was a wonderful person
