She was born in Cleveland, the daughter of Norma (Beveridge) Kusick and the late Paul Kusick. Paula is the beloved wife of 39 years to James "Greg" Medlar; loving mother of James "Jamie" Medlar (Kayla Hurt) and Melissa (Giuseppe) Ricciuti; cherished grandmother of Alexa, Jaxon, Brynlee and Rylee Ricciuti; dear sister of the late Mark Kusick; daughter-in-law of the late James and Maxine Medlar; sister-in-law of Sharon Medlar, Richard Medlar and Jeffrey Medlar (deceased) ; adored aunt of Katherine "Kady" (Joe) Fougerousse and great-aunt of Bella Fougerousse. She was a cherished friend to many and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Paula was an LPN at Parma Hospital for 38 years. She enjoyed the family trips to Siesta Key and Sarasota, walking the beach and collecting shells. She and Greg loved rock and roll and could be found at the Colosseum and Blossom Music Center attending numerous concerts. Her favorite past time was spending time with her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 4, 2022 from 4PM-8PM at Craciun Funeral Home ,14925 Bagley Rd., Middleburg Heights, where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11AM. Interment to follow at Hope Memorial Gardens in Hinckley.
