Richard A. Csongedi

CSONGEDI, RICHARD A., age 75. Passed away peacefully February 24, 2025 with his family by his side. Loving father of Richard Csongedi (Angel) & Ryan Csongedi. Cherished “Grumpa” of Richie & Gianna Csongedi. Former husband of Lucille (nee Grassi). Dearest son of the late Joseph & Angela (nee Poklukar) Csongedi. “Big Rich” is survived also by his brother Robert Csongedi (Tammy) and his sisters Jean Csongedi and Joan Dobrovic (Andy). Dear uncle of Lea, Neil, Peter, Stephanie, Brittany, Kirsten and great uncle to their children. Also survived by cousins and many dear friends. A dear friend to many, who have truly become family. His door was always open, you were always greeted with a smile. Rich was a kind, direct man who had amazing witt and wisdom, quite a sense of humor, and a larger-than-life presence about him. Rich enjoyed woodworking and gardening, he was an avid outdoorsman who lived simply and loved whole-heartedly. He has passed this legacy on and will be greatly missed, fondly remembered and forever loved. (NO FLOWERS PLEASE). Celebration of Life Service Saturday March 8, 2025 at the funeral home 11:00 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends SATURDAY MORNING MARCH 8, 2025 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at the A. RIPEPI & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS (WEST OF I-71).
