Thomas L. Denny

Thomas L. Denny, age 83. Loving father of Lorraine Porrello (Richard), James (Laura) and Sean (Ynes). Former husband of Lois (nee Gowans). Cherished grandfather of Rachel and Richie Porrello, and Michael and Nicholas. Beloved son of the late Larry and Inez. Dear brother of Alan (deceased) (Esther), Gary (deceased) (Floreene), and Richard (deceased). Born in Akron, and a longtime Cleveland-area resident, Thomas was a masterclass and award-winning artist, illustrator, designer and art director known for his works often featuring sports and jazz. Thomas taught art at Cuyahoga Community College, and various other schools throughout the decades. The family would like to express its extreme gratitude to the staff of Parkside Villa Nursing Home and Continuum Care Hospice for the professional and loving care provided to Thomas during his arduous battle with Parkinson’s disease. Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday September 21, 2024 at A. RIPEPI AND SONS FUNERAL HOME 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HTS., OHIO 44130 (West of I-71) where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM.
