Thomas Peters

On November 30, 1990, T.J. was born in Garfield Heights to his parents Audrey and Joseph. They raised him to be a smart and hard-working man who was loved by countless people.

He attended high school at Midpark High School before studying at Tri-C and finally earning two master’s degrees at American Military University. Before he passed, he was hard at work on getting his doctorate, because he was always trying to learn and grow.

T.J. was a huge fan of Chris Farley movies, Creed, and Cleveland sports. The day he passed away, the Browns pulled off a victory, and Tom was definitely cheering them on from heaven.

He is survived by his wife, Shannon, and his three beautiful children, Michael, Johnathan, and Delaney. T.J. was the beloved brother of Christa, and brother-in-law of Ryan, Joseph, Milly, Anna, and, Claire, and uncle of Kadyn. And he was loved my many aunts, uncles, cousins, and good friends.

All his life, he put the happiness of his family and friends before his own. His education, his career, everything he did was to provide for those he loved. His dedication to his family will never die, and he will always be with them.

A Celebration of Life will be 1-4 p.m. Sunday November 30, 2025 at the Middleburg Heights Community Center, 16000 Bagley Rd., Middleburg Heights (East of I-71)
