Perry Allen Kickbush

Perry Allen Kickbush, age 73, of Middleport, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Buffalo General Hospital. Born November 23, 1942 in Medina, Perry is the son of the late: Maynard and Mabel (Fuller) Kickbush.

Perry was a graduate of Barker High School. He entered the Navy July 31, 1962 and was honorably discharged July 30, 1968. He married Kathleen H. Brazzell July 6, 1968 at St. Mary’s R.C. Church of Medina. He worked at the Village of Middleport in the Department of Public Works retiring in 2012. Perry enjoyed spending time with his family. He enjoyed hunting, working in his garage bowling and golf. He was a “Mr. Fix It” who enjoyed tinkering and making things work again.

Surviving is his loving wife: Kathleen (Brazzell) Kickbush; dear children: Michael (Danielle) Kickbush of Medina and Kimberly (Jeremy) McCauley of Geneva, FL.; grandchildren: Kaela (Sean) Martin of Hampton, VA, Morgan (Avi) Lakhan of Sanford, FL, Chase (Oles) Tkach of Albion, NY, Jenna Kickbush and Aydan Kickbush both of Medina; greatgrandchildren: Leia Martin, Grayson Martin and Lyla Rodriguez; Brother of: Norma (the late Bill) Baty of Middleport, Doug (Nancy) Kickbush of Lakeland, FL., Cynthia (Daniel) Boyler of Middleport and the late: Edith DuBois; Brother-in-law of: Bud DuBois of Middleport, Maureen (Earl) Ruhlman of Medina and William (the late Kathy) Brazzell of Medina. Perry is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Bates, Wallace and Heath Funeral Home 38 State Street, Middleport, NY on Saturday, January 16, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Sunday morning at 10:00 am with Doug Eggert officiating. Interment will be in Hartland Central Cemetery, Gasport, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Save-A-Pet or the Alzheimer’s association.
