Angelique Key

Angelique Key, age 54 of Carlisle, passed away Friday, April 10, 2026 at Kettering Medical Center in Miamisburg. She was born May 26, 1971 in Middletown, the daughter of Dannie Akers and Deborah (Lawson) Akers.

She worked at the Berry Network for many years.

Preceded in death by her father Dannie (Butch) Akers; brother Michael Akers; grandparents, Dave and Hazel Lawson; grandmother, Hazel Angel; uncles Davey and Mike Lawson; aunts Deborah (Angel) Hatton and Diana (Lawson) Wooldridge. Also, her husband Mike Key.

Survived by her mother, Debbie Lawson Akers; brothers Matthew Akers, Mark (Julie) Akers, Kenneth (Shawnna) Akers, and Dannie Akers; her aunts Teresa Lawson and Vivian Akers McClain and beloved nephews Logan, Reeve, Brandon (Brittany), Anthony(Taylor), Nathan (Regan), Michael, Chris Akers, Matthew Akers, Jr. and Jordan Kellerman; a niece, Patton Akers; numerous great nieces and nephews. She leaves a slew of cousins! So much family, church family and special friends. She was a very giving person and never met a stranger. She will be sorely missed, but Heaven is sounding sweeter all the time!

2nd Corinthians chapter 5 verse 8 ...the soul being absent from this body means immediately being in the presence of the Lord!

A memorial service will be held from 12:30-2:30 pm on Saturday, April 18, at the Solid Rock Church with Reverend Darrell Smith officiating.
