Becky Lynn Babington

Becky Lynn Babington, age 62, of Monroe, OH passed away on February 25, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born October 3, 1963 in Dayton, OH, the daughter of William and Simone (Lemay) Babington.

Becky was a graduate of the class of 1980 from Lemon Monroe High School. A longtime employee of MetLife until her retirement, Becky enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, and her cat, Miss Pepper. A huge fan of the University of Kentucky, she enjoyed watching college basketball, loved concerts, and the music of Rod Stewart. She also enjoyed exploring different restaurants, shopping, and catching up with friends at every opportunity. Becky also loved spending time with her daughter Sarah, and keeping up on the lives of Sarah’s many friends who she considered family.

Becky is survived by her wonderful daughter, Sarah Shay; her devoted son-in-law Jamie “The Boyfriend” Beiser; stepfather Arnie Newton; mother-in-law Lois; sister-in-law Jody, and numerous well-loved and appreciated friends.

Visitation will be 5 PM-6 PM, Monday, March 9, 2026 at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home, 517 South Sutphin Street, Middletown, OH 45044. We invite her friends to come and share a memory and a smile in her honor at that time. A private interment will be at the convenience of the family.

Because of Becky’s deep love of animals, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to The PAWS Adoption Center animal shelter in Monroe, Ohio, or any animal shelter of choice.
