Bernard Joseph Frye, 83, of Middletown, passed away on June 13, 2021 at Sycamore Medical Center. He was born July 20, 1937, the son of Frederick and Nancy (Fryman) Frye.

Ben was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He worked at AK, retiring after 30 years of service. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing and gardening. Ben was a member of Elk Creek Baptist Church for 42 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents. Ben is survived by his wife of 52 years, Judith Frye; daughters, Tricia (Steve Sterret), Lisa (Doug) VonHolle; grandchildren, Morgan, Luke and Caroline Von Holle; and many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be 4:00-6:00 pm on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Elk Creek Baptist Church, 7175 Elk Creek Rd, Middletown, OH 45042. A Memorial Service will follow at 6:00 pm with Pastor Charlie Wagoner officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Elk Creek Baptist Church.
