Cary is survived by his brother, Charles A. Martin; sisters, Cheryl (Ray) McGuire, Sandra (Roy) Pennington and numerous nieces and nephews and special friends, Chris and Lisa Combs. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Eleanor Martin and his brother, Jim Martin.
Cary graduated from Carlisle High School in 1978 where he played football and baseball. He then went to Wilmington College to play football. He was a very kind and gentle soul. Always smiling and willing to help anyone. He will be greatly missed.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at Woodside Cemetery.
