James Vernon Howard

James Vernon Howard, age 79, of Liberty Township, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022. He was born November 6, 1942 in Leslie County, Kentucky, the son of Jimmie and Nannie (Baker) Howard.

James was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a hard worker, retiring from Crystal Tissue after 39 years of service. He never met a stranger. James loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. His favorite time was spent joking and pulling pranks.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Jimmie Lee Howard; grandson, Jimmie Lee Howard-Webster, great granddaughter, Mackenzie Webster; brothers, Marshall Howard and Paul Howard.

James is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sue Howard; children, Wayne (Tracy) Howard; Suzie Howard, Tim (Missy) Howard; Kristin (Tony) Gattone; grandchildren, Timmy (Jennifer), Caleb (Alicia) Brittney, Ciara (Donerius), Dylan, Kaidyn, Trystin, Graycin, Logan, Jaxon, Lyndsey, Nevaeh, Kylin, Messiah, Lynnlee, Aizayah, Cameron, TJ, Jaxyn; and many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be 11:00 am-1:00 pm on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home, 517 South Sutphin Street, Middletown, OH 45044. A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 pm with Pastor Earl Baker officiating. Burial will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
