Kenneth E. Aldridge

Kenneth E. Aldridge, age 94, of Franklin, Ohio went home to be with the Lord, Monday, October 23, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Odella (Hatfield) Aldridge; brother, Jim (Ruby) Aldridge; and his wife, Allie (Hampton) Aldridge.

Kenneth found a love for aviation at an early age. Starting as a hanger boy at Hook Field in Middletown, Ohio he soon began training in light aircraft. Kenneth received his pilot's license at the age of 16. He was the only student at Middletown High School who could fly before he was able to drive.

Kenneth worked as a flight instructor for a number of years. Soon afterward he took a job at Aeronca Aeronautical Manufacturing. And spent 37 years there, retiring in 1989 as Manager of Production Planning.

Kenneth had strong faith in God and was a Member of Grace Baptist Church of Middletown, Ohio for many years. He and his wife Allie were Sunday school teachers and leaders of the Primary Children's department.

Kenneth had a great sense of humor and was knowledgeable about so many things. He loved his family so much and will be sadly missed.

Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Carol (Steve) Cockerham of Avon Park, FL and son, Dan (Denise) Aldridge of Franklin; grandchildren, Shannon (Heath) Minton of Carlisle, Michael (Libby) Aldridge of Franklin, Casey (Ashley) Cockerham of Wachula, FL, Josh Cockerham of Beavercreek; great grandchildren, Miranda (Anthony) Gilbert, Meghan (Jacob) Walton, Mikayla Minton, Elyce and Sophia Aldridge, Thomas, Emily, Ben, Leah and Ella Cockerham; great-great grandchildren, Tucker and Jackson Gilbert.

Visitation will be 11 am-12 pm on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home, 517 South Sutphin Street, Middletown, OH 45044. A Funeral Service will follow at 12 pm with Pastor Roger Green officiating. Burial will be at Grace Memorial Gardens.
