Lenis Burton

Lenis “Rose” Burton passed away peacefully on Friday, July 11, 2025, in Middletown, Ohio, at the age of 97. Lenis was born on March 13, 1928, in Campton, Kentucky, to her parents, Blaine and Pauline Rose. She was a proud graduate of Oakdale Christian School and a devoted member of Grace Baptist Church. Each day, Lenis strived to walk in the light of her Lord.

Lenis was an incredible cook, gardener, and seamstress. On weekends, you could find her at yard sales in her neighborhood finding the best deals possible. Her quiet generosity and kindness touched everyone she met. Her legacy of love and faith will live on in those who knew her.

Lenis is survived by her sister, Lois (Bruce); her sons Bryan (Lin) and Brent (Revina); her grandchildren Allie (Caleb), Cat (William), and Jake; her great-grandchildren Luke and Ben; and a host of other beloved family members. She was preceded in death and reunited in heaven with her parents, Blaine and Pauline; her husband, Bob; and her many siblings.

All who were touched by Lenis are welcome to join the family in honoring her memory.

Visitation will be 1:00 pm-2:00 pm on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home, 517 South Sutphin Street, Middletown, OH 45044. A Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 pm with Pastor Roger Green officiating.
