Mildred Lee “Mickey” Bumgardner, age 94 of West Middletown, Ohio, went to be with our heavenly Father, April 23, 2019, at home surrounded by loved ones. She was born January 23, 1925 in Beattyville, Kentucky.
Mickey was a stay at home wife and mother.
She was an avid gardener and seamstress. She was preceded in death by her parents, Steve Mann and Virginia Barrett; sister, Nancy Mann; husband, James Richard Bumgardner, Sr.; sons, James Richard Bumgardner, Jr., and Daryl Randall Bumgardner; two granddaughters, Stephanie Bumgardner and Riki Bumgardner.
She is survived by foster son, John Dyehouse; daughter-in-law, Margaret Bumgardner; granddaughter, Michelle Ary; three grandsons, Scott, Jaymes and Jody Bumgardner; 12 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; and cousin and close friend, Billie Combs.
Visitation will be from 10-11:00 am Friday at the Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11:00 Friday at the funeral home, with Pastor Jake Garmany officiating. Burial will be at the Woodside Cemetery.
